If you run a security Web site then sooner or later someone is going to contact you asking for help in cracking a password. Sometimes those requests seem legitimate and other times the ill intent is glaringly obvious. I've been at the receiving end of such requests more than a few times and so have others, including the folks at attrition.org

Head over to their Web site and check their Going Postal section where they reveal some of the whacky requests they encounter. And be sure to reach the item titled "ask a stupid question" -- it's hilarious.
